Also, character can try to stuck npc over some obstacle (jailed doors, placeables, bad tileset design) and then shoot them to death from safety etc. In fact, ranged shooting is quite broken in NWN because AI quite often doesn't know what to do.Ĭharacters can shoot while running and it won't stop them, so basically most melee npcs can be kited by running circles and shooting at the same time. I came as WB into pve server that had same problem and solved it the way archers suddenly became most played characters as they had much more possibilities than their melee counterparts.
